Data Deletion Instructions

At Astrology Counsel, we respect your right to control your personal data. This page explains how you can request deletion of your account and associated data.
What Data We Store
When you use Astrology Counsel, we store the following data associated with your account:

How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your account and all associated data using any of the following methods:
1 Delete from Within the App
The easiest way to delete your account:
- Open Astrology Counsel app
- Go to Settings (gear icon)
- Scroll down to Account section
- Tap "Delete Account"
- Confirm by tapping "Yes, Delete My Account"
Your account and all data will be permanently deleted within 24 hours.
2 Request via Email
If you cannot access the app, send an email to:
Please include in your email:
- Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
- The email address associated with your account
- Your reason for deletion (optional)
We will process your request within 7 business days and send confirmation once complete.
3 Submit Deletion Form
Fill out the form below to request account deletion:
What Happens After Deletion
Request Received
We receive and verify your deletion request
Account Disabled (Immediate)
Your account is immediately disabled and you cannot log in
Data Deletion (Within 30 days)
All your personal data is permanently deleted from our systems
Confirmation Email
You receive confirmation that your data has been deleted
Data Retention After Deletion
After account deletion, the following may be retained:
- Transaction Records: Payment records may be retained for up to 7 years for legal and tax purposes, but will not be linked to your personal identity.
- Anonymized Analytics: Aggregated, anonymized usage data that cannot identify you may be retained.
- Legal Requirements: Data required to be retained by law or for legitimate legal claims.
Cancel Subscription Before Deletion
⚠️ Important
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription. To avoid future charges, please cancel your subscription through Google Play Store before requesting account deletion:
- Open Google Play Store app
- Tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions
- Tap Subscriptions
- Find Astrology Counsel and tap Cancel subscription
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I recover my account after deletion?
No. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. You would need to create a new account and re-enter all your information.
Will my subscription be refunded?
Account deletion does not qualify for a refund. Refund requests should be made through Google Play before deleting your account.
How long does deletion take?
Your account is disabled immediately. Complete data deletion occurs within 30 days.
Can I download my data before deletion?
Yes. Contact support@astrologycounsel.com to request a data export before deletion.
